Solves Challenge of Positioning Standoffs Between Holes
Ever had trouble building a fixture because the holes in the fixture plate do not line up conveniently for positioning standoffs to establish your 3 points points of rest for your part? Although having the holes on your fixture plate closer together like our standard aluminum fixture plates with holes on 1/2" centers significantly reduces this occurance, there are still some cases where 2 standoffs line up perfectly with your part, but there is just not a hole exactly where you need the final standoff. Our adjustable positioner is the perfect solution to this problem. It is a 1/4" thick, same as our thread lengths. This makes it nice because you can screw a 3/4" height standoff into the adjustable positioner for 1 point of rest and match resting point heights by using 1" height standoffs for each of the other 2 points of rest.
