Comprehensive Kit Function
The comprehensive kit has all the components that are in the Basic CMM Fixturing Kit, plus a selection of 1" diameter standoffs for fixturing larger parts, a screw jack for fine height adjustment, 3 additional cones, 2 swivel joint rests for locating, and 2 toggle clamps for clamping down parts. All components in the Comprehensive Kit have a 1/4-20 thread and are made to be used in conjunction with a fixture plate with 1/4-20 holes. We have 3 standard aluminum fixture plate sizes with 1/4-20 tapped holes. Our fixture plates are alpha numerically labeled for documentation of your fixture setups for increased efficiency in future part inspection. It may be necessary to add on to your kit with other components such as our 3" height standoffs available in 1/2", 3/4", and 1" diameters or our fixture towers for fixturing parts in a vertical orientation.
