IMTS 2016–A Summary of Some Fun Times

The dust has finally settled and IMTS 2016 is now in our rearview mirror. We are happy to report that this was our best show yet!

We started prepping on Sunday, as always. This year was a little bit different because we had the “star” of the show, he TE-CO demo van, with us. IMTS required that we be one of the last ones in, so maneuvering was a little difficult.

There was excitement right away not only because of the van being there but also because for the first time ever, we were sharing our booth with Raptor Workholding and Mitee Bite. We had a lot of people working the booth, but the space was big enough that we didn’t trip over each other (too much).

It seemed like a lot of people really got into our “Hold It” tour concept. We saw a lot of visitors with their golden ticket in hand so that they could enter to win one of three $500 Workholding Products gift certificates. We also gave away “concert” t-shirts and coasters shaped like guitar picks. We will be announcing the winners of the contest soon and we are very excited about that!

People were very interested in the array of Workholding products that were available at the booth, and the demo van attracted just as much attention as we thought it would. In fact, we even got a special visitor who graciously posed in front of our own superstar.

Apart from visitors to our booth who made us all feel special, we had some great support from our customers. Milltronics and Haas Automation both used our Workholding Products in their own product demos. We’ve posted videos of their demos to our Facebook page, and they will be on our YouTube channel soon! It is rewarding to see customers willing to showcase your products right along with theirs in such a key venue.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to talk to us. We really appreciate it, and we hope you had as much fun as we did!
